Welcome to ENGAGE Therapy Services! We are a team of Speech-Language Pathologists that work with adults providing rehabilitation and therapy services throughout the Hamilton and Niagara Regions.

We provide home based rehabilitation services for adults who have experienced a brain injury, stroke, or who present with a degenerative disease. We also provide therapy services for those who require voice therapy or those who are interested in accent modification.
Our service model is family centered, meaning that we work closely with family members and other health care professionals involved in the client's care. Our goal is for each individual to be a successful and engaged communicator.

Melissa Gagnon
Owner and Speech-Language Pathologist

My name is Melissa Gagnon and I am the founder of ENGAGE Adult Therapy Services. I am a certified Speech-Language Pathologist who is registered with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) and am a member of the Ontario Association of Speech-Language Pathologists & Audiologists (OSLA). I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Western Ontario in Health Sciences and my Masters in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Toronto.
I would love to work with you to help those you love achieve their full potential! Whether I am treating someone who presents with a development or acquired language disorder, my treatment plan will always be family centered. This means that I will work directly with parents and other caregivers to ensure maximal progress and carryover of skills.
I provide speech and language assessment and adult rehabilitation services throughout the Niagara Region.

My name is Victoria Mannella and I am a Speech-Language Pathologist who is registered with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO). I provide a holistic and family-centered approach to therapy. Holistic meaning I take your whole life and identity into perspective and conduct assessments and treatment in your natural, comfortable environment. This includes working closely with family, caregivers, and other professionals to help you reach your highest potential. I look forward to learning more about you and creating goals that will improve your overall quality of life!
I provide speech, language, and cognitive-linguistic assessments, as well as adult rehabilitation services throughout the Niagara Region, Stoney Creek, Hamilton, and Burlington.

Natasha Makubuya
Speech-Language Pathologist

My name is Natasha Makubuya and I am a Speech-Language Pathologist who is registered with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) and am a member of the Ontario Association of Speech-Language Pathologists & Audiologists (OSLA). I am a graduate from the University of Sydney in Australia, where I obtained my Master of Speech-Language Pathology, and a graduate from Brock University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Applied Linguistics, specifically in Speech Language Sciences.
Natasha has experience working with pre-school, school-aged and adult demographics in a variety of care settings. She has a diverse range of practice working in the areas of early speech and language development including phonological awareness, fluency and adult neurological rehabilitation.
Natasha is passionate about working with all clients while maintaining focus on creating and delivering a client/family-centred practice in both assessment and treatment stages. I am based in the St. Catharines and Niagara Falls Ontario regions.
